Molds are tiny microscopic organisms that digest organic matter and reproduce by releasing spores, they are a type of fungi with over 100,000 species. Mold becomes a problem when they enter interior spaces as microscopic airborne spores from the outside environment and settles on moisture to grow. It is important to know that mold needs moisture to grow. Controlling mold is a matter of controlling the moisture in the home, you know you have mold when you smell a musty odor or see small black, darkened, or white specks along a damp wall usually by a water source.

CES inspection services will include the collection of air and bulk samples and analysis, water intrusion evaluation and identification of the source of the damage, moisture assessment using moisture meters, and Thermal Imaging.

CES will provide monitoring services which will include, continuous monitoring of the remediation work, collection of air, surface and bulk sampling, and clearances inspections.
